Student Leadership

At Holy Family Catholic School, our student leaders play an important role in fostering faith, service, and community.

Mission Leaders

Our Year 6 Mission Leaders are role models that bring our Catholic identity to life by leading liturgies, speaking at school Masses, and encouraging students to actively participate in faith-based experiences.

As leaders of faith and service, Mission Leaders develop valuable skills in communication, teamwork, organisation, and public speaking.

They also support a range of school events and initiatives, including Mission Day and other activities that promote service, compassion, and social justice.

House Captains

Our House Captains work closely with students across the school to build a strong sense of belonging, teamwork, and school spirit within their house communities.

Our House Captains represent our House Teams of: St Vincent de Paul (Yellow), St Francis of Assisi (Green), St Mary MacKillop (Blue), and St John Paul II (Red)

House Captains encourage participation in house events, celebrate achievements, and inspire students to work together in a positive and supportive environment.

Student leadership is an important part of life at Holy Family Catholic School. We believe that providing students with opportunities to lead helps them develop confidence, responsibility, communication skills, and a commitment to serving others. Through leadership experiences, students learn the values of Respect, Responsibility and positive Relationships while contributing to the life of the school community.

Our student leaders are encouraged to lead with integrity, demonstrate our Catholic values, and inspire others through their words and actions. Whether supporting school events, representing their peers, leading prayer, promoting service initiatives, or fostering school spirit, student leaders play a vital role in creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone feels connected and valued.
